Value Bet of the Week: Seattle Seahawks (-4) at San Francisco 49ers

The top value bet of the week is also a rare five-star value, with the Seahawks coming into their matchup with the 49ers as only four-point road underdogs. Seattle has been dominate over San Francisco over the better part of the last decade, winning 10 straight against their NFC West rivals. The Seahawks have been just as good against the spread in this matchup, going 13-2 ATS over their past 15 meetings. The BetQL models see a ton of value at the current line of SEA -4, projecting that they will win by over two touchdowns. The sharp money is also coming in on the Seahawks, giving them a 21-percent Pro Money Edge.

WEEK 15 NFL PICKS: Straight up | ATS

Largest Public Favorite: New England Patriots (-2) at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Patriots and Steelers matchup headlines the afternoon slate of games this week, and it’s no surprise that there has already been a ton of action placed on it. It’s also no surprise that the Patriots are the largest public favorites after a a few poor performances in a row from the Steelers. Pittsburgh will likely still be without RB James Conner, and it’s hard to trust their offense with QB Ben Roethlisberger now dealing with a rib injury. New England has dominated this series as of late, winning the past five straight up with a winning margin of more than 12 points per game. An interesting trend that’s worth a look if you want to back the Steelers is that Mike Tomlin-coached teams are 12-3  straight up after three straight against-the-spread losses.

Sharps’ Favorite Bet of the Week: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+7.5) at Baltimore Ravens

The largest Pro Money Edge of the week is the Buccaneers, who check in as 7.5-point road underdogs to the Ravens. It looks like Lamar Jackson will get another start at quarterback for Baltimore, who have won three of the past four both straight up and against the spread. Baltimore has been one of the worst teams to back in all of football as favorites, going 2-5 ATS this season. The biggest worry for the Bucs in this matchup has to be their unbalanced offense that is heavily reliant on it’s passing game going against Baltimore’s top-ranked passing defense. Another interesting bet that is seeing some action is the total of 46.5 points, with 93 percent of public tickets coming in on the UNDER.

Largest Line Movement: Philadelphia Eagles (+11) at Los Angeles Rams

Injuries can have a huge impact on line movement, and we’re seeing that this week in the Eagles-Rams Sunday night matchup after Eagles QB Carson Wentz’s season was put into question because of a back injury. Philadelphia already faced an uphill battle in this matchup and will now likely have to turn to Nick Foles, who looked poor in his early-season starts. The Rams, however, have been one of the worst teams in the league against the spread, covering only two of their past 10 games. Los Angeles’ offense struggled for really the first time all season last Sunday night against the Bears, but it will be looking to put up plenty of points against an Eagles defense that is on it’s fourth- and fifth-string cornerbacks. The public and the sharp money are split in this one, with 59 percent of public tickets on the Rams and 64 percent of total money on the Eagles.
