Who is left in NFL free agency

The NFL's free agency period is in full swing.

A list of available free agents (and those who have made deals) is available by positions below with insight from IndyStar Insiders Jim Ayello and Joel A. Erickson on who the Indianapolis Colts might pursue. Defensive positions are determined by where players would fit in the Colts' scheme.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees

Quarterback

1. Drew Brees, New Orleans — Resigning $50 million, 2-year deal with New Orleans, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

2. Tom Brady, New England — Signing with Tampa Bay, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

3. Philip Rivers, L.A. Chargers — Signing $25 million, 1-year deal with Indianapolis, via ESPN's Adam Shefter.

4. Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay

5. Teddy Bridgewater, New Orleans — Signing $63 million, 3-year deal with Carolina, via ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

9. Chase Daniel, Chicago — Signing $13.05 million, 3-year deal with Detroit, via ESPN's Adam Shefter.

10. Josh McCown, Philadelphia

Best of the rest: Trevor Siemian, N.Y. Jets; Chad Henne, Kansas City; Mike Glennon, Las Vegas; Matt Moore, Kansas City; Colt McCoy, Washington; Nate Sudfeld, Philadelphia — Resigning 1-year deal with Philadelphia, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport; Matt Schaub, Atlanta; Blaine Gabbert, Tampa Bay; Blake Bortles, L.A. Rams; A.J. McCarron, Houston — Resigning $4 million, 1-year deal with Houston, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.; Brett Hundley, Arizona; Drew Stanton, Cleveland; Joe Webb, Houston; Kyle Sloter, Detroit; Chad Henne, Kansas City; Geno Smith, Seattle; Sean Mannion, Minnesota; Matt Simms, Atlanta (RFA); Jeff Driskel, Detroit; Brandon Allen, Denver (RFA); David Fales, N.Y. Jets.

Ayello: The Colts have repeatedly stated they’ll keep all of their options open. That could mean drafting a quarterback, trading for one, or signing one of these guys. I’d classify that last option as the least likely. General manager Chris Ballard’s roster-building philosophy is to draft and develop talent. While we’ve never seen him at the helm of a team with a concern at this all-important position, it’d be prudent to wager that if Ballard is going to address quarterback this offseason, he’ll do it in the draft.

L.A. Chargers running back Melvin Gordon

Running Back

1. Melvin Gordon, L.A. Chargers — Signing $16 million, 2-year deal with Denver via CBS Sports

2. Kenyan Drake, Arizona (Transition tag) -- staying with Cardinals for 1 year

3. Kareem Hunt, Cleveland (RFA)

4. Devonta Freeman, Atlanta

5. Carlos Hyde, Houston

6. Frank Gore, Buffalo

7. Bilal Powell, N.Y. Jets

8. Devontae Booker, Denver

9. Matt Breida, San Francisco (RFA -- placed second-round tender)

10. Ty Montgomery, N.Y. Jets

Best of the rest: C.J. Prosise, Seattle; Dion Lewis, Tennessee; J.D. McKissic, Detroit (RFA) — signing 2-year deal with Washington, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero; Wendell Smallwood, Philadelphia; Ameer Abdullah, Minnesota; DeAndre Washington, Las Vegas; Jordan Howard, Philadelphia; Corey Clement, Philadelphia; Peyton Barber, Tampa Bay; Lamar Miller, Houston; Marshawn Lynch, Seattle; LeSean McCoy, Kansas City; Chris Thompson, Washington; Isaiah Crowell, Las Vegas; Theo Riddick, Denver; Jonathan Williams, Indianapolis; Spencer Ware, Kansas City; Samaje Perrine, Miami (RFA); Dwayne Washington, New Orleans; Taiwan Jones, Houston; Rod Smith, Las Vegas; Tyler Ervin, Jacksonville; David Fluellen, Tennessee (RFA); Elijhaa Penny, N.Y. Giants (RFA); Brian Hill, Atlanta (RFA); D.J. Foster, Arizona; Senorise Perry, Buffalo; Kenjon Barner, Atlanta.

Ayello: The Colts have three running backs under contract, all of whom they like. With Marlon Mack coming off his first 1,000-yard season, Nyheim Hines proving to be a solid change-of-pace/pass-catching back and Jordan Wilkins solid in their stead, don’t expect the Colts to do anything significant here.

New Orleans Saints fullback Zach Line

Fullback

1. Zach Line, New Orleans

2. Anthony Sherman, Kansas City

3. C.J. Ham, Minnesota — Resigned $12.25 million, 4-year deal with Minnesota, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

4. Andy Janovich, Denver -- Traded to Cleveland for a 7th-round draft pick

5. Danny Vitale, Green Bay

6. Derek Watt, L.A. Chargers — Signing with Pittsburgh, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

7. Michael Burton, Washington

Ayello: Quenton. Nelson.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper (19)

Wide Receivers

1. Amari Cooper, Dallas — Re-signing $100 million, 5-year deal with Dallas, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

2. Emmanuel Sanders, San Francisco — signing $16 million, 2-year deal with New Orleans, via ESPN

3. Breshad Perriman, Tampa Bay

4. Randall Cobb, Dallas — Signing $27 million, 3-year deal with Houston, via NFL Network's James Jones.

5. Robby Anderson, N.Y. Jets -- Signing for 2 years, $20 with Carolina, via ESPN

6. Danny Amendola, Detroit — Re-signing 1-year deal, via  Peter Schrager of Fox Sports

7. Keelan Cole, Jacksonville (RFA -- received second-round tender)

8. Demarcus Robinson, Kansas City

9. Phillip Dorsett, New England -- Agrees with Seattle for 1 year, via ESPN

10. Paul Richardson, Washington

Best of the rest: Josh Gordon, Seattle; Nelson Agholor, Philadelphia -- Joined Las Vegas; Tajae Sharpe, Tennessee; Corey Coleman, N.Y. Giants; Demaryius Thomas, N.Y. Jets; Devin Funchess, Indianapolis -- Signed with Green Bay; Geronimo Allison, Green Bay; Ted Ginn, New Orleans; Seth Roberts, Baltimore; Cody Latimer, N.Y. Rams (RFA); Cody Core, N.Y. Giants; Josh Malone, N.Y. Jets (RFA); Mike Thomas, L.A. Rams; Justin Hardee, New Orleans (RFA); Trevor Davis, Las Vegas; Geremy Davis, L.A. Chargers; Damiere Byrd, Arizona — Signing 1-year deal with New England, via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo; Romell Guerrier, Denver.

Ayello: The Colts will address this position during the offseason, but given the depth of the draft, it seems more likely they’ll do it there. However, if the Colts are worried about a repeat of 2019 when what looked to be solid receiver depth was decimated by injuries, they could dip their toes in this market. The problem for Ballard and Co. is the talent pool is shallow and if they were going to target one of the bigger names, they’d have to be ready to spend significant money to do it. If Cooper makes it to the open market, he should have a dozen suitors at least. Green looks like he’ll be franchise tagged, but Sanders and Perriman both look like potential fits in a Frank Reich offense that could utilize their unique skillsets. If other teams are waiting until the draft to address the position, perhaps someone here comes to the Colts as a bargain.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Austin Hooper (81)

Tight Ends

1. Austin Hooper, Atlanta — Signing $44 million, 4-year deal with Cleveland, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Silver.

2. Jimmy Graham, Green Bay — Signing $16 million, 2-year deal with Chicago, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

3. Eric Ebron, Indianapolis — Signing $12 million, 2-year deal with Pittsburgh, via ESPN

4. Tyler Eifert, Cincinnati -- Agreed to terms with Jacksonville.

5. Jason Witten, Dallas — Signing 1-year deal with Las Vegas, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

6. Jordan Reed, Washington

7. Vance McDonald, Pittsburgh

8. Charles Clay, Arizona

9. Ricky Seals-Jones, Cleveland (RFA)

10. Blake Jarwin (RFA) — Re-signing $24.25 million, 3-year deal with Dallas, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Best of the rest: Delanie Walker, Tennessee; Marcedes Lewis, Green Bay; Clive Walford, Miami; Logan Thomas, Detroit — Signing with Washington, via ESPN's Jon Keim; Lance Kendricks, L.A. Chargers; Luke Willson, Seattle; Bradley Sowell, Chicago; Levine Toilolo, San Francisco — Signing $6.2 million, 2-year deal with N.Y. Giants, via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo; Seth DeValve, Jacksonville; Blake Bell, Kansas City; Jacob Hollister, Seattle; Geoff Swain, Jacksonville; Jerome Cunningham, Washington (RFA); Nick Vannett, Pittsburgh; Nick O'Leary, Jacksonville; Sean Culkin, L.A. Chargers (RFA); David Morgan, Minnesota; Dillon Gordon, Carolina (RFA); Cethan Carter, Cincinnati (RFA); MyCole Pruitt, Tennessee; Eric Tomlinson, Las Vegas; Isaiah Searight, N.Y. Giants; Antony Auclair, Tampa Bay; Ben Koyack, Jacksonville; Scott Simonson, N.Y. Giants.

Ayello: With Eric Ebron out the door, the Colts would seem to have a need for a tight end who can stretch the middle of the field to play alongside technician Jack Doyle. What few options are on the market will draw major attention from rival teams, meaning the Colts will either have to pay top dollar or wait until the draft to find their compliment to Doyle. Worst case scenario: They go into the season with Doyle and Mo Alie-Cox as their top-two options, and that, frankly, isn’t all that bad a scenario given Alie-Cox’s development.

Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Jack Conklin

Tackles

1. Jack Conklin, Tennessee — Signing $42 million, 3-year with Cleveland, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

2. Bryan Bulaga, Green Bay — Signing $30 million, 3-year deal with L.A. Chargers, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

3. Jason Peters, Philadelphia

4. Andrew Whitworth, L.A. Rams -- Staying with the Rams on a 3-year deal.

5. Demar Dotson, Tampa Bay

6. Cordy Glenn, Cincinnati

7. Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Philadelphia — Signing $50 million, 5-year deal with Detroit, Via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

8. Andrus Peat, New Orleans — Re-Signing $57.5 million, 5-year deal with New Orleans, via NFL Network.

9. Matt Feiler, Pittsburgh (RFA -- placed second-round tender)

10. Daryl Williams, Carolina

Best of the rest: Kelvin Beachum, N.Y. Jets; Marcus Gilbert, Arizona; Dennis Kelly, Tennessee — Resigning $21 million, 3-year deal with Tennessee, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero; Greg Robinson, Cleveland; Mike Remmers, N.Y. Giants; Brandon Shell, New York Jets; George Fant, Seattle — Signing $27.3 million, 3-year deal with N.Y. Chargers (RFA); George Asafo-Adjei, N.Y. Giants; Chris Clark, Houston; T.J. Clemmings, Chicago; Justin Murray, Arizona; Cedric Ogbuehi, Jacksonville; Ryan Groy, L.A. Chargers; Roderick Johnson, Houston; Lukayus McNeil, Atlanta; Cornelius Lucas, Chicago; William Sweet, Arizona; John Jerry, Cincinnati.

Ayello: Assuming the foregone conclusion actually happens and Anthony Castonzo returns, the Colts don’t have any need to play at the top of the market. They do, however, need to add some depth to the position behind Castonzo and right tackle Braden Smith. Incumbent reserve Joe Haeg is a free agent, and the Colts might be wise to sign him – or someone like him – while targeting Castonzo’s long-term replacement in April.

Best of the rest: Eric Kush, Cleveland; Parker Ehringer, Baltimore; Earl Watford, Tamp Bay; Wes Schweitzer, Atlanta — Signing $13.5 million, 3-year deal with Washington, via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo; Michael Schofield, L.A. Chargers; Jordan Devey, Las Vegas; Kevin Pamphile, Tennessee; Max Garcia, Arizona; Oday Aboushi, Detroit; Michael Liedtke, Tampa Bay; Alex Redmond, Cincinnati (RFA); Brent Qvale, N.Y. Jets; Dakota Dozier, Minnesota; Cameron Irving, Kansas City; Rashaad Coward, Chicago (RFA); Kenny Wiggins, Detroit; Jermaine Eluemunor, New England (RFA); Ted Larsen, Chicago.

Ayello: The Colts are set for starters here with All-Pro Quenton Nelson on the left and Mark Glowinski on the right. However, as with tackle, the Colts could use some depth behind those guys. Expect Ballard to at least investigate the more economically friendly end of the market to find insurance for his starters.

Denver Broncos guard Connor McGovern

Centers

1. Conner McGovern, Denver — Signing $27 million, 3-year deal with N.Y. Jets, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

2. B.J. Finney, Pittsburgh — Signing $8 million, 2-year deal with Seattle, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

3. Austin Blythe, L.A. Rams -- Stays with the Rams for 1 year.

4. Matt Skura, Baltimore (RFA)

5. Ted Karras, New England  -- Agreed with Dolphins for 1 year at $4 million, via ESPN.

6. Jon Halapio, N.Y. Giants (RFA)

7. Stefen Wisniewski, Kansas City

8. Ryan Kalil, N.Y. Jets

9. A.Q. Shipley, Arizona

10. Ben Garland, San Francisco -- Stays with 49ers at 1 year, $2.25 million

Ayello: Ryan Kelly remains entrenched as the Colts’ starter at center, but like his linemates, has little to speak of in terms of backups. Again, look for the Colts GM to target some cheaper talent as insurance for Kelly who started all 16 games last year but has missed some time throughout his career. The Colts have expressed interest in retaining Andrews, according to a league source.

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney

Defensive End

1. Jadeveon Clowney, Seattle

2. Dante Fowler Jr., L.A. Rams — Signing $48 million, 3-year deal with Atlanta, via ESPN

Best of the rest: Emmanuel Ogbah, Kansas City — Signing $15 million, 2-year deal with Miami, via ESPN's Adam Shefter; Mario Addison, Carolina — Signed $30.45 million, 3-year deal with Buffalo, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero; Ezekiel Ansah, Seattle; Adrian Clayborn, Atlanta; Bruce Irvin; Carolina; Vinny Curry, Philadelphia; Ronald Blair, San Francisco; Kerry Hyder, Dallas; Josh Mauro, Las Vegas; Damontre Moore, San Francisco; Anthony Zettel, San Francisco; Benson Mayowa, Oakland; Kerry Wynn, Cincinnati; Bryan Cox Jr., Cleveland (RFA); Lerentee McCray, Jacksonville; Stephen Weatherly, Minnesota — Signing $12.5 million, 2-year deal with Carolina, via NFL Network; Mike Daniels, Detroit; Jonathan Bullard, Arizona; Branden Jackson, Seattle (RFA); Damion Square, L.A. Chargers; Shilique Calhoun, New England; Noah Spence, New Orleans; Carl Nassib, Tampa Bay — Signing $25 million, 3-year deal with Las Vegas, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport; Morgan Fox, L.A. Rams (RFA); Wes Horton, Carolina; L.T. Walton, Pittsburgh; Vince Biegel, Miami (RFA); Brooks Reed, Arizona; Stacy McGee, Carolina; Adam Gotsis, Denver; Caleb Brantley, Washington (RFA); Cassius Marsh, Arizona; Brent Urban, Chicago; Joel Heath, Denver.

Erickson: For the Colts, the key domino at this position is Sheard. If the Colts move on from Sheard, who will be 31 in May, there is a big hole at one defensive end position, and a perceived lack of edge-rush talent in the draft might prompt Indianapolis to fill the spot in free agency. Indianapolis does have Kemoko Turay and Ben Banogu behind Justin Houston, but Turay is coming off of an injury and Banogu is headed into his second year.

San Francisco defensive tackle Arik Armstead

Defensive Tackle

1. Arik Armstead, San Francisco — Re-signing $85 million, 5-year deal with San Francisco, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

3. Javon Hargrave, Pittsburgh — Signing $39 million, 3-year deal with Philadelphia, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

4. Quinton Jefferson, Seattle — Signing 2-year deal with Buffalo, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

5. Jordan Phillips, Buffalo — Signing 3-year deal with Arizona, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

6. Jarran Reed, Seattle — Resigning $23 million, 2-year deal with Seattle, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

7. Shelby Harris, Denver

8. Derek Wolfe, Denver

9. Maliek Collins, Dallas

10. Michael Brockers, L.A. Rams — Signing $30 million, 3-year deal with Baltimore, via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Best of the rest: Michael Pierce, Baltimore — Signing $27 million, 3-year deal with Minnesota, via ESPN's Josina Anderson; Ndamukong Suh, Tampa Bay -- Agrees to 1-year, $8 million; Gerald McCoy, Carolina — Signing 3-year deal with Dallas, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport; Linval Joseph, Minnesota; David Onyemata, New Orleans — Resigning $27 million, 3-year deal with New Orleans, via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo; Damon Harrison, Detroit; Nicholas Williams, Chicago; Timmy Jernigan, Philadelphia; Andrew Billings, Cincinnati; Christian Covington, Dallas; Xavier Williams, Kansas City; Al Woods, Seattle; Jack Crawford, Atlanta; A’Shawn Robinson, Detroit; Rakeem Nunes-Roches, Tampa Bay; Josh Tupou, Cincinnati (RFA); Sheldon Day, San Francisco; Mike Pennel, Kansas City; Akeem Spence, Jacksonville; Antwaun Woods, Dallas (RFA); Austin Johnson, Tennessee; Clinton McDonald, Arizona; Domata Peko, Baltimore; Hassan Ridgeway, Philadelphia; Kyle Love, Carolina; Danny Shelton, New England; Brandon Mebane, L.A. Chargers; Olsen Pierre, Las Vegas.

Erickson: Indianapolis needs help at defensive tackle, probably in the form of two new players, and it needs difference-makers in the pass rush. Denico Autry and Grover Stewart serve as two building blocks, but after the struggles of Margus Hunt and Tyquan Lewis last season -- plus the possibility that Lewis moves out to play more defensive end this year -- the Colts could use an influx of talent at this position, probably from both free agency and the draft.

Los Angeles Rams linebacker Corey Littleton (58)

Linebacker

1. Corey Littleton, L.A. Rams — Signing $36 million, 3-year deal with Las Vegas, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

2. Kyle Van Noy, New England — Signing $51 million, 4-year deal with Miami, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

7. De'Vondre Campbell, Atlanta -- Agrees with Cardinals for 1 year.

8. Christian Kirksey, Cleveland — Signing $16 million, 2-year deal with Green Bay Packers, via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

9. Kevin Pierre-Louis, Chicago — Signing $3.45 million, 1-year deal with Washington, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

10. Aaron Lynch, Chicago

Best of the rest: Kyle Fackrell, Green Bay — Signing $4.6 million, 1-year deal with N.Y. Giants, via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo; Kamalei Correa, Tennessee; Kamu Grugier-Hill, Philadelphia; Josh Bynes, Baltimore; Mychal Kendricks, Seattle; Isaac Rochell, L.A. Chargers (RFA); Terrell Suggs, Kansas City; Pernell McPhee, Baltimore; Nigel Bradham, Philadelphia; Vontaze Burfict, Oakland; Brooks Reed, Arizona; Brandon Copeland, N.Y. Jets; Nick Vigil, Cincinnati; Haasan Reddick, Arizona; Alec Ogletree, N.Y. Rams; Hardy Nickerson, Cincinnati (RFA); Paul Worrilow, N.Y. Jets; Will Compton, Las Vegas; Albert McClellan, N.Y. Jets; Leonard Floyd, Chicago; Mike Hull, Miami (RFA); Nick Dzunbar, L.A. Chargers; Chase Allen, Miami; Manti T'eo, New Orleans; Kareem Martin, N.Y. Giants; Jihad Ward, Baltimore; Isaiah Irving, Chicago (RFA); Justin March-Lillard, Dallas; Deon Lacey, Miami (RFA); Joe Walker, Arizona; Jordan Jenkins, N.Y. Jets; Ufomba Kamalu, Baltimore (RFA); Chris Odom, Washington; Jatavis Brown, L.A. Chargers; Joseph Jones, Denver (RFA); D.J. Alexander, Jacksonville; Jon Bostic, Washington; Tahir Whitehead, Las Vegas; Tyrell Adams, Houston (RFA); Dekoda Watson, Seattle; Maurice Alexander, Buffalo; Donald Payne, Jacksonville (RFA); Neville Hewitt, N.Y. Jets; Deone Bucannon, N.Y. Giants; Jake Ryan, Jacksonville; Elandon Roberts, New England; Julian Stanford, Buffalo; James Burgess, N.Y. Jets (RFA); Preston Brown, Jacksonville; Corey Nelson, Denver; David Mayo, N.Y. Giants — Resigning $8.4 million, 3-year deal with N.Y. Giants, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport; LaRoy Reynolds, Cincinnati.

Erickson: Even though Indianapolis flirted with the idea of playing Banogu at strong-side linebacker last summer, the Colts do not need a pass-rush type for the base defense. Indianapolis has three starting-caliber players -- All-Pro Darius Leonard, Anthony Walker and promising second-year 'backer Bobby Okereke -- and only two linebacking spots that receives starting snaps, so if Indianapolis wants to add a player here, it can probably afford to keep building the linebacking corps through the draft.

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Byron Jones

Cornerback

1. Byron Jones, Dallas — Signing $82 million, 5-year deal with Miami, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

2. James Bradberry, Carolina — Signing $45 million, 3-year deal with N.Y. Giants, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

9. Trae Waynes, Minnesota — Signing $42 million, 3-year deal, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

10. Desmond Trufant, Atlanta -- Agrees with Lions to 2-year, $21 million deal, via ESPN.

Best of the rest: Daryl Worley, Las Vegas; Bashaud Breeland, Kansas City; Eli Apple, New Orleans --- Agreed with Las Vegas; Jalen Mills, Philadelphia — Resigning $5 million, 1-year deal with Philadelphia, via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.; Prince Amukamara, Chicago; Ronald Darby, Philadelphia; Kevin Johnson, Buffalo;  Mackensie Alexander, Minnesota; Tramon Williams, Green Bay; Brian Poole, N.Y. Carrie, Cleveland; Maurice Canady, N.Y. Jets; Vernon Hargreaves, Houston; Tye Smith, Tennessee; Anthony Brown, Dallas; Michael Davis, L.A. Chargers (RFA); Morris Claiborne, Kansas City; Blidi Wreh-Wilson, Atlanta; Neiko Thorpe, Seattle; LeShaun Sims, Tennessee; C.J. Goodwin, Dallas; Keith Reaser, Kansas City (RFA); Akeem King, Seattle; Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Washington; Breian Boddy-Calhoun, Indianapolis; Josh Simmons, Chicago; Phillip Gaines, Houston; Jason Verrett, San Francisco; Artie Burns, Pittsburgh; DeVante Bausby, Denver (RFA); Torry McTyer, Cincinnati (RFA); Kevin Peterson, Arizona; Dean Marlowe, Buffalo (RFA); Chris Milton, Tennessee; Kalan Reed, Seattle (RFA); Tony McRae, Cincinnati (RFA); Dontae Johnson, San Francisco; Will Parks, Denver; Brandon Williams, Arizona; Eric Murray, Cleveland; Troy Hill, L.A. Rams; Cyrus Jones, Denver; Aaron Colvin, Washington; Antonio Hamilton, N.Y. Giants; Jamar Taylor, Atlanta; Horace Richardson, Denver; Ryan Smith, Tampa Bay.

Erickson: No team can ever have enough good cornerbacks, and Indianapolis needed better play out of its outside tandem of Pierre Desir and Rock Ya-Sin last year. On the flip side, Ya-Sin came on in the second half of his rookie year, and Desir was banged up throughout the season, and there is young depth behind them. On the other hand, Indianapolis could decide to add a veteran presence, perhaps somebody who has the ability to slide inside and play the slot behind Kenny Moore, who is one of the league's best players inside and who leaves big shoes to fill when he's out.
