College football signing day tracker 2021: Full list of top commits, classes from early signing period

The vast majority of players have signed their National Letter of Intent in college football's early signing period, resulting in the same old conclusion: The teams that have always dominated college football recruiting continued to do so in the early signing period, even in an unprecedented recruiting cycle affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

That's reflected in the top three teams (No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Georgia) signing a combined 15 of 34 five-star recruits.

But five-star players do not a complete class make; hundreds of blue-chip recruits signed in the first 60 hours of the 72-hour early signing period, including 89 of 100 top-100 recruits from the 247Sports Composite (naturally, 69 of those went to the top 10 teams).

There weren't any changes at the top of the rankings in the final 12 hours of the early signing period. With that, Sporting News presents the top 100 players — including where they signed — and the top 10 recruiting classes of the early signing period:
