With the offseason mostly winding down, at least until the NFL draft, Aaron Rodgers is currently the last big domino to fall and is the center of the NFL world's attention. It seems after all the smoke has cleared, Rodgers will be the starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but that has not been confirmed.

Despite reports indicating or predicting Rodgers would join the Steelers, Minnesota Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah made some surprising comments on the quarterback.
Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah says the Vikings are comfortable with the QB room right now, but wouldn’t say that he’d 100% close the door on Aaron Rodgers depending on scenarios.

When discussing the current quarterback situation during a press conference, Adofo-Mensah reportedly said he wouldn't close the door" on a Rodgers signing, despite reports indicating otherwise not too long ago.
How the Vikings view their first-round pick from last year J.J. McCarthy continues to be a talking point this offseason.
The team seems like it wants to be confident in McCarthy, but given the team is contending for the playoffs and the young QB is coming off an injury, the team may prefer a more reliable veteran next season.
Rodgers does make sense for the team on paper, especially if he is willing to mentor McCarthy a bit. Sitting the Michigan product another season may be a risky idea, but it has worked out for other quarterbacks currently in the NFL.
Jordan Love sat for three seasons before becoming the starter, ironically, behind Rodgers.

The Vikings have Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson, and Rodgers's former teammate from the Packers in running back Aaron Jones.
It is understandable why the 41-year-old would want to join that offense over the Steelers who have D.K. Metcalf, George Pickens, Pat Freiermuth, Jaylen Warren, and a much weaker offensive line.
Kevin O'Connell is also an offensive-minded coach, while Mike Tomlin is more defensive-minded.
It seems once again the talk could ramp up surrounding Rodgers, which could all be just talk but could also be real. There is no way to know for sure.
However, the one thing that seems certain is that Rodgers to the Vikings would make the most sense, while the Steelers are the team that likely wants him most. It is just a matter of how much the Vikings actually want Rodgers.
As the offseason continues to trudge along, there will likely only be more rumors swirling the longer Rodgers takes to sign with a team.
The Giants seemingly moved on by signing Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, so it really is down to the Vikings and the Steelers.
The Vikings may or may not be out of the running for Rodgers, but with how much media coverage there is of the situation, there is no way to know for sure what is going on with the situation.
