Philadelphia’s defense dominated Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs yesterday for a runaway 40-22 Super Bowl 59 victory, the second in franchise history. The Eagles defense sacked Mahomes 6-times, intercepted him twice with rookie Cooper DeJean getting a 38-yard pick-six. By the way, it was Cooper’s 22nd birthday yesterday and that was his first-ever NFL interception.
Jalen Hurts was selected MVP for his combined 293-yards of offense with three touchdowns.
