NFL Mock Draft 2025 3.0: Updated Prediction of the Entire First Round

The NFL draft is less than a month away, meaning even more information is starting to come out on team strategy and player analysis. It can be hard to figure out what news is true and what is made up, given all the noise that is put out there leading up to the draft.

For now, the best thing to do is to have fun with the lead-up and make mock drafts, and then soak up even more information for the next one. This may be a prediction for the draft, but most people don't get close to being right anyway.

Here is an updated mock for the entire first round without trades, otherwise known as NFL Mock Draft 3.0.

1. Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward, QB, Miami

It seems like there is a 99.9% chance this happens at this point. Ward has been dubbed the clear best quarterback in the class, and the Titans need one badly. It just makes perfect sense.

2. Cleveland Browns - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn St.

Another team that needs a quarterback, the Browns reportedly much prefer Ward over the other quarterbacks, making them select the best player available instead of the next best quarterback. Adding another top pass rusher opposite Myles Garrett is too enticing to pass up.

3. New York Giants - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Despite adding Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston and free agency, the Giants still need their quarterback of the future. Sanders may not love starting right away, but the second Wilson starts to falter, he will have a chance to be the talk of New York.

4. New England Patriots - Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

While they need an offensive lineman much more than a wide receiver or cornerback after free agency, Hunter is too talented to pass up for them, just as it was for the Browns with Carter. Hunter can still fill a huge need at WR2 or CB3.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Armand Membou, OL, Missouri

The Jaguars need interior line help more than exterior help, but Membou's versatility allows him to play both. The team would benefit greatly from Mason Graham, but decides to protect Trevor Lawrence better instead and help out the run game that struggled last year.

6. Las Vegas Raiders - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise St.

The Raiders fill their top need with the best player available. This pick just makes too much sense for them, and Jeanty would help bring a new dynamic to an offense that also added Geno Smith. If the WR class was better, they might've considered that instead.

7. New York Jets - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

The Jets have multiple needs, but are happy to select the best defensive player left on the board to help out their d-line. With new head coach Aaron Glenn being a former defensive coordinator, picking defense early makes sense.

8. Carolina Panthers - Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia

Walker seems to be all over the place in mock drafts. With the Panthers in need of a high-upside pass rusher, they take Walker, who can be versatile as well at linebacker, having the athleticism and talent to play off-ball as well.

9. New Orleans Saints - Jihaad Campbell, LB/EDGE, Alabama

Campbell is in a similar mold as Walker in the sense that he has plenty of versatility at linebacker and comes from a big school known for producing great defensive players. Campbell continues to rise on draft boards as the draft approaches.

10. Chicago Bears - Will Campbell, OL, LSU

Will Campbell has fallen a bit due to his shorter arm length, but that likely won't bother Ben Johnson. The offensive line has gone through a complete overhaul, and the Bears finish the process by adding a left tackle with versatility.

11. San Francisco 49ers - Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

Barron seems like a great fit in San Fran, who also happens to have a big need at secondary after losing multiple pieces. The 49ers have been at their best recently with great defenses, so addressing that in the draft seems like their best approach.

12. Dallas Cowboys - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

McMillan has been highly scrutinized throughout this draft process, but it is hard to imagine the Cowboys passing on him given his potential perfect fit opposite of CeeDee Lamb. Dak Prescott would finally have two elite guys to throw to, potentially.

13. Miami Dolphins - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

Starks seemed to be dropping at one point among draft experts, but now seems to be rising back up. The Dolphins are likely hoping Will Campbell falls to them, but if he doesn't, they are fine with settling for a safety to replace Jevon Holland.

14. Indianapolis Colts - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn St.

This would be the dream scenario for a team whose biggest need is a tight end. Warren is the consensus top one in this class, and even showed Taysom Hill-like versatility in college.

15. Atlanta Falcons - Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

The Falcons also have a big pass rush need, but they can address that later in the draft, and instead pounce on a wide receiver in what is a weak WR class. Golden is another big riser among draft experts lately after a great combine performance.

16. Arizona Cardinals - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

The Cardinals don't need pass rush help as much after adding some free agents to the mix, so now they turn to the secondary to boost their defense. Johnson is a talented player who has fallen due to injury concerns, providing a potential great value at 16.

17. Cincinnati Bengals - Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

The Bengals are paying big money to their offense, so they could use some draft help on defense, especially with the future of Trey Hendrickson unclear. They take a top pass rusher in Green, who should be a great fit, whether replacing Hendrickson or lining up across from him.

18. Seattle Seahawks - Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota St.

The Seahawks need help all over the offensive line, and Zabel has the perfect versatility to help them with that. The Seahawks need help protecting Sam Darnold so he can find Jaxon-Smith Njigba and Cooper Kupp in the passing game.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

The Buccaneers are a solid all-around roster, but could use help at pass rush. They take arguably the best one on the board currently in Ezeiruaku, although there are multiple interesting pass rushers left at this spot.

20. Denver Broncos - Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

The Broncos need more weapons on offense for Bo Nix. They signed Evan Engram at tight end and missed out on McMillan and Golden, so they go for the best running back after Jeanty in Hampton.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

The Steelers are a candidate for running back or quarterback, but also need help in the secondary. They take the best safety available in the draft in physically gifted Emmanwori, who stole the show at the NFL Combine.

22. Los Angeles Chargers - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio St.

The Chargers need to help Justin Herbert more so he doesn't throw multiple picks and only succeed with throwing to Ladd McConkey in the playoffs. Egbuka is a solid all-around receiver who should be nearly as reliable as McConkey.

23. Green Bay Packers - Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

The Packers need defensive line help on the interior, and take one of the best ones in the draft in Grant. DT is one of the deepest position groups in the draft, but taking an elite one late in the first makes a lot of sense.

24. Minnesota Vikings - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

Not to be outdone by their division rival, the Vikings follow suit and take Harmon. The Vikings seem like trade-down candidate, but in this mock, they settle for another elite DT prospect.

25. Houston Texans - Kelvin Banks Jr., OL, Texas

The Texans stay in state and grab a great offensive line prospect in Banks Jr. He can also move into guard if necessary, but the team has a huge hole at left tackle after moving Laremy Tunsil.

26. Los Angeles Rams - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

Another candidate to draft a quarterback, the Rams land a top-tier tight end in this mock, however, so they pass on a guy like Jaxon Dart. Loveland would be a great addition alongside Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

27. Baltimore Ravens - Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Ravens have a great, all-around talented team, so they take the best player available at a premium position. Stewart has fluctuated on draft boards, but is still a good option in a great pass rush class.

28. Detroit Lions - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

The Lions are in a similar spot and follow the same approach as the Ravens. Williams is another top-tier defender from Georgia who would be given plenty of time to develop on a contending Lions team.

29. Washington Commanders - Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss

The Commanders continue their push for true contender status by improving their secondary. They've already added to the offensive line and wide receiver room, so improving the defense should be a priority.

30. Buffalo Bills - Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

The Bills need help with interior pressure, so they take Nolen, the second straight Ole Miss defender. The Bills overall need help on defense to support their now much richer quarterback Josh Allen.

31. Kansas City Chiefs - Josh Simmons, OL, Ohio St.

The Chiefs showed in the Super Bowl that their biggest weakness was the offensive line, so they addressed that by picking Simmons. The team could also use help on the defensive line, but the seemingly top options are all gone at this point.

32. Philadelphia Eagles - Luther Burden, WR, Missouri

Burden started off as competition with Tet McMillan for top receiver in the draft, but now is often left out of first-round mocks. He could be a steal for the Eagles, who are known for draft steals, and be a much better WR3 than Jahan Dotson.
