ASHWAUBENON - If you live around Lambeau Field, you may want to check with your mail carrier if you're going to get your mail delivered during the days of the draft.

About 1,200 residences along with businesses around Lambeau Field will be affected, according to Desai Abdul-Razzaaq, a spokesperson for the U.S. Postal Service. The Postal Service did not specify which streets those residents live on.

Abdul-Razzaaq said their mailboxes will be blocked because of street parking between April 24 and 26 so mail carriers will not be able to access them. The mail will be scanned as undeliverable and people will be able to pick it up their mail at the post office.

The NFL draft is on the Lambeau Field campus and the surrounding blocks. Several roads around the draft area will alo be closed, with the first ones starting March 29.

According to USPS policy, a postmaster could stop delivery service if mail carrier will continue facing issues delivering mail where street parking is controlled.

Anyone can request the post office to put their mail on hold for you to pick up at the post office at their convenience. Residents will need to login at usps.com and select the dates they want their delivery to be put on hold.
