ROB Gronkowski has been predicted for a new Fox NFL Sunday opportunity in a massive reshuffle for the network.
The potential role for Gronkowski comes after the NFL Hall of Famer and broadcasting veteran Jimmy Johnson retired from the hit Fox Sports program last month.
The New England Patriots tight end icon Gronkowski has been a contributor to Fox's NFL programming since he retired from the league in 2022.
With Johnson's retirement from Fox after three decades of being a star on Fox NFL Sunday, Gronk has been tipped to be his predecessor on Fox NFL Sunday.
Front Office Sports' Michael McCarthy wrote this week that Fox NFL Sunday should add Gronkowski as a full-time Fox NFL Sunday star for the 2025 season.
"It’s standard for the top NFL pregame shows to boast a former coach on the studio desk, preferably a Super Bowl winner like Johnson at Fox and Bill Cowher at CBS," he wrote.

"But the 81-year-old former Cowboys coach has been a part-timer for a couple of seasons now.
"Rob Gronkowski has been doing more on the league’s most-watched pregame show.
"The 35-year-old Gronk delivers a more youthful, irreverent vibe alongside TV monuments like the 76-year-old Terry Bradshaw and 65-year-old Howie Long.
"Fox loves stars."

Gronkowski has worked on Fox NFL Pregame and Fox NFL Sunday recently.
He was given a Fox NFL contributor role in the 2024 season and could be ready to receive full-time duties.
Gronk is certainly not the only Patriots icon to work for the network.
Tom Brady finished the first year of his 10-year, $375 million deal as an NFL game analyst for Fox.
He worked alongside play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt as the pair even covered Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.
Gronkowski also works alongside Pats legend Julian Edelman, who is an analyst on Fox NFL Pregame.
