THE greatest journeyman in the history of the NFL is making yet another stop in his career.
Josh Johnson is signing with the Washington Commanders for the 2025 season.
Johnson's career started in 2008, when he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 5th round of the draft.
He signed with multiple different teams throughout his career before moving to the XFL for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
Johnson returned to the NFL after the 2020 season and once again played for multiple teams before joining the Commanders.

Johnson has made a solid living for himself as a journeyman quarterback.
Between all of his stops he has racked up career earnings of over $12 million.
A good chunk of that came from last season, when he made over $1.4 million with the Ravens.

His new contract with the Commanders is for just about the same value as his Ravens deal.
Johnson has a bit of a cult following in the NFL, and fans shared their kudos for his new contract on social media.
"14 seasons, 12 million dollars, that's definitely a record," one fan said.

While he has been on tons of teams in his career, Johnson has gotten very limited playing time.
He has appeared in 45 NFL games, starting just nine of those games.
