These are players you once rooted for, when they were wearing the blue pinstripes of the Chicago Cubs.

Now, they’ve moved on to other teams, via trades, free agency or waivers, and now they play for one of the other 29 teams that make up Major League Baseball.

Here are the 42 former Cubs (and 21 coaches/managers) currently on 40-man rosters (or injured lists) for those other 29 teams. NOTE! To qualify to be listed in this article, the player must have played at least one MLB regular-season game for the Cubs. Players who were in the Cubs minor-league system, or in Spring Training, but didn’t play in the majors for the Cubs in the regular season are not listed. Coaches or managers listed have to have been either a former Cubs MLB player, or a former Cubs MLB coach/manager.
