The second day of the 2025 NFL Draft will get underway on Friday, April 25, when Rounds 2 and 3 kick off at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The 2025 NFL draft kicked off on Thursday night, with the first round offering us a huge surprise when the Jacksonville Jaguars traded up to the No. 2 spot to draft Heisman winner Travis Hunter.
The first round was an eventful one, with the Tennessee Titans drafting who they hope will be their quarterback of the future, Miami's Cam Ward, with the No. 1 overall pick.
Penn State edge Abdul Carter went third overall to Penn State while LSU's Will Campbell, a star offensive tackle, went fourth to the New England Patriots. Campbell's job will be to protect young Pats star signal-caller Drake Maye. Rounding out the top five was Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham, going fifth overall to the Cleveland Browns.

The biggest story of the first round outside of the Jags' shocking trade-up for Hunter involved Hunter's teammate, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, going undrafted. That means the second round of tonight's NFL draft will be must-see television just to see who ends up drafting the talented passer.
According to some pundits, Sanders fell in the draft due to his average athleticism and arm strength, two vital traits for modern NFL quarterbacks. We'll see how much farther he drops in the 2025 draft, but what is certain is that whatever team does land him could wind up picking up a steal, as Sanders' output in college was certainly impressive, so the potential is there.
