GREEN BAY, Wis. (WNDU) - Former Notre Dame defensive tackle Rylie Mills has been drafted by the Seattle Seahawks with the 142nd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Mills started the last two years at defensive tackle. He had a breakout year this past season before he suffered a season-ending ACL tear in the first round of the College Football Playoff.
He finished his Notre Dame career with 131 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 17 sacks.
Mills is the fourth Fighting Irish player to be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. He was preceded in the draft by Benjamin Morrison (second round, No. 53 pick), Xavier Watts (third round, No. 96 pick) and Jack Kiser (fourth round, No. 107 pick).
The Seattle Seahawks went 10-7 last season and missed the playoffs after finishing second in the NFC West division.
