LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Make-A-Wish Nevada hosted its 24th annual Walk For Wishes at Town Square Las Vegas on Saturday, with the event presented by Allegiant.
The nationwide fundraiser, powered by wish families, volunteers, and supporters, celebrates the thousands of wishes already granted while raising funds for future wishes.
This year's Walk For Wishes set a goal of raising $500,000 to help grant life-changing wishes for more than 250 children in Nevada who are waiting for their dreams to come true.
Make-A-Wish Nevada CEO Scott Rosenzweig says, "It is the very first walk for Make-A-Wish Nevada. In September 2024, we took over the state. We are going to be sure that every child with a critical illness battling through it has us by their side thanks to you."
The dog-friendly event featured a variety of attractions, including the popular Touch-A-Truck area, a petting zoo, face painting, games, food trucks, and photo opportunities with characters from favorite children's movies.
