Daniel Dubois will end Oleksandr Usyk’s run against British fighters and become the king of the heavyweight division.

There won’t be any doubt when they face off at Wembley Stadium on July 19. And I won’t have to hand over a Bentley to Usyk as he claims I owe him one if he beats Daniel again.

Although I’m still waiting to hear from him on what he will give me when Daniel wins. On the serious business, this time will be different from Poland in 2023. Back then, Daniel was on away soil - with Wroclaw being a home away from home for Usyk - and he was not a mature fighter then.

Since that night, he has gone on a ridiculous run of beating Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua on his way to becoming IBF champion. And he did with Joshua what Usyk couldn’t do - he knocked him out.

There was also the controversy over the ‘low blow’ and I’ve said what I’ve said on that. It wasn’t a low blow, it was a legal punch and Usyk was seriously hurt. We wanted a rematch from the moment it happened.

Now we are getting it and this is an even better position for Daniel. Because now Usyk has all three of the other belts, Daniel has the IBF. The undisputed title is on the line and a Brit hasn’t held that in the heavyweight division since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora, Joshua and Tyson Fury have all failed to beat Usyk. Although, I feel Tyson definitely deserved at least one of his two fights with the Ukrainian. But I don’t think there will be a need for scorecards on July 19 at Wembley Stadium. Daniel will win by stoppage to take his throne as king of the division.

Tickets are selling fast already with 60,000 gone on the first day and we are hoping for a sell out at the national stadium. Daniel’s last fight there was flattening Joshua in the fifth round. He’s going to make history on the hallowed turf this summer.
