The wait is almost over, Buffalo Bills fans. The NFL will officially reveal the complete 2025 regular-season schedule on Wednesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. EDT. As part of coverage, there will be a full slate of programming available through NFL Network, ESPN, the NFL Channel — plus additional coverage on NBC, CBS, FOX, and streaming platforms in Prime Video and Netflix.
Yes, as with almost everything NFL related — even the league’s schedule release has become must-see TV for fans across the globe. Here’s how you can tune in to find out when and where Buffalo’s playing in 2025...
NFL 2025 Schedule Release timeline
Ahead of the full release, the NFL’s broadcast partners will once again drop our favorite little schedule release breadcrumbs along the way — revealing select games over three days leading up to May 14. This is where you can keep up with it all:
Monday, May 12
- NBC: “TODAY Show”
- FOX
- Prime Video
Tuesday, May 13
- ESPN: “Good Morning America First Look”
- NFL Network: “Good Morning Football” (International games announced)
Wednesday, May 14
- CBS: “CBS Mornings”
- Netflix
Are the Buffalo Bills playing internationally in 2025?
Admittedly, we can only make guesses at this point about Buffalo’s chances to play an international game during the 2025 season. That said, there are a few key away matchups for Bills Mafia to pay attention to ahead of the official international matchup announcements during Good Morning Football on Tuesday, May 13.
Buffalo’s scheduled to play road games against teams designated as the “home” team in Dublin, Ireland (Pittsburgh Steelers), London, England (New York Jets and Cleveland Browns), and Madrid, Spain (Miami Dolphins).
Holiday and Primetime Possibilities for Bills Mafia
One of the biggest questions fans ask leading up to the schedule release is: How many primetime games will the Bills land in 2025? Once again, the 1 p.m. ET game-day hopefuls shouldn’t hold breath. It’s very likely the team will receive multiple primetime matchups (perhaps the maximum allowed), including potential appearances on Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thursday Night Football.
Could the Bills find themselves playing on a holiday in 2025? There are three games slated for Thanksgiving, one on Black Friday, and three on Christmas Day. With the reigning NFL MVP in quarterback Josh Allen, Buffalo may very well be a hot ticket for nationally televised holiday and primetime games.
Bills LT Dion Dawkins to take part in schedule release
Bills fans have even more reason to tune in this year, as four-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Dion Dawkins will be a featured guest on “Schedule Release ’25 Presented by Verizon” on NFL Network. The three-hour primetime special, will be hosted by Rich Eisen, Maurice Jones-Drew, and Michael Robinson.
More Schedule Release Coverage
NFL GameDay View: Schedule Release will also begin at 8 p.m. EDT on the NFL Channel (available via NFL App, Roku, Peacock, and NFL.com). This coverage will be hosted by Patrick Claybon, Cynthia Frelund, and Gregg Rosenthal.
ESPN2 will have a two-hour special also beginning at 8 p.m. EDT, to be hosted by Laura Rutledge, Dan Orlovsky, Louis Riddick, Adam Schefter, and Peter Schrager, along with special guests.
