The 2025 NFL season is coming up quickly and the Pittsburgh Steelers are excited to see what Aaron Rodgers can bring to the field.
After a long offseason of rumors and waiting, the future Hall of Fame quarterback finally committed to the Steelers ahead of the team's mandatory minicamp. He was signed to a one-year deal and could be entering his final year in the league.
While there is still a chance that things could go amazingly well and Rodgers could return to Pittsburgh for the 2025 season, he's focused on winning now. At this point, the Steelers are viewed as a potential Super Bowl contender by most.

Of course, there are a lot of questions surrounding Rodgers. He is now 41 years old and is coming off of a torn Achilles in 2023 and a year in 2024 where the New York Jets struggled mightily.

Even though the Jets' struggles last season cannot be blamed on Rodgers, he has received a lot of criticism from the media. Despite that criticism, he actually produced a very good season in 2024.
He played in all 17 games last year, completing 63 percent of his pass attempts for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. If he can replicate that production or possibly improve on it, Pittsburgh will be in a good situation.
Ahead of the 2025 campaign, Rodgers has been severely disrespected.
CBS Sports analyst Pete Prisco has revealed his list of the top 100 players in the NFL. Rodgers was not on that list.
Only three quarterbacks were listed in the top 10, with Patrick Mahomes at No. 1, Lamar Jackson at No. 6, and Joe Burrow at No. 7. Also missing the top 100 were Matthew Stafford and Sam Darnold.

Throughout his career, Rodgers has thrived when he has been counted out. The same might very well happen in 2025. He has a good team around him and is motivated to prove himself and win at a high level after two frustrating seasons in New York.
Not putting Rodgers on a top 100 list is a bold take. He is one of the best quarterbacks to ever throw the football and is coming off of a year where he outplayed many other quarterbacks around the NFL. In fact, he put up better numbers than Mahomes.
It will be interesting to see what the 2025 season has in store for Rodgers and the Steelers. He's still Rodgers and could make analysts who bet against him eat their words by the end of the year.
