Allen Park -- With cornerback Jamal Agnew expected to miss significant time, and potentially the remainder of the season, as well as defensive backs Teez Tabor (groin) and Tavon Wilson (back) also dealing with injuries, the Detroit Lions added cornerback Lenzy Pipkins off waivers on Tuesday.

To make room on the roster, the Lions released linebacker Marquis Flowers.

Pipkins, who went undrafted out of Oklahoma State last season, was waived by the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday. He appeared in just one game for the franchise, playing 53 snaps in last Sunday's loss to New England.

Prior to Indianapolis, the 6-foot, 196-pound Pipkins spent the 2017 season with the Green Bay Packers. Playing both outside and in the slot, as well working on multiple special teams units, he appeared in 12 games, including one start, making 15 tackles and breaking up a pass.

He was traded to the Colts in exchange for linebacker Antonio Morrison prior to the start of this season.

Pipkins played his first three college seasons at Louisiana-Monroe before transferring to Oklahoma State as a senior.
