JEEVI launches mental health and holistic wellbeing services to empower the Australians with innovative and customised wellbeing programs.
According to Usha Sagar, founder and CEO of JEEVI, there are various counselling and mental health programs available in Australia but not every individual is able to access them.
“In Australia, antidepressants are the most prescribed medication. According to the World Stroke Foundation, globally one in four adults over the age of 25 will have a stroke in their lifetime. The Australian Bureau of Statistics' 2022 report reveals that 47 percent of the Australian population, which is almost half, has one or more chronic conditions. This number has significantly increased over the past decade,” Ms Sagar said.
“JEEVI's program aims to address these issues by offering a range of evidence-based and scientifically proven services, including life coaching, dietetics, and yoga. The program is tailored to meet the unique needs of employees, students, seniors, patients, school children, people with disabilities, and their carers and families. JEEVI’s team, has a passion for providing customised, quality-focused, and result-oriented 'Inner Strength Development Programs' focus on helping every individual or group achieve optimal health, happiness, success and relationship goals.
“Our goal at JEEVI is to help individuals heal emotionally, mentally, and physically by promoting harmony between the body, mind, heart, and soul.
“We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality, affordable, and personalised wellbeing solutions. That's why we offer our program online and onsite, which means we can bring our services directly to you, whether you're at work, school, an aged care facility, nursing home, or any other location across Australia. We're proud to provide accessible and effective wellbeing solutions to all Australians.”
JEEVI provides services in a flexible manner either on-site and or online. Its Inner Strength Development Programs (ISDP) are ideally suited to companies, schools, universities, health facilities, and aged care/disability care facilities as well as individuals.
“The 10 weeks Inner Strength Development Program provides three days of Yoga and one day of life coaching as well as one day of consultation with a dietitian every week. At JEEVI, we believe that prevention is better than cure and we aim to help people be psychologically, emotionally, spiritually and physically fit while treating any present issues,” Ms Sagar added.
According to Ms Sagar, adopting a mindset of focusing on what you love about yourself rather than what you hate can bring several benefits. It can improve self-esteem, reduce self-criticism, increase resilience, enhance self-awareness, and lead to more positive relationships.
“By highlighting your strengths and positive traits, you can gain a deeper understanding of your identity and pursue a more fulfilling life. This can also help you cope with stress and adversity more effectively, and become more confident and authentic in your interactions with others,” Ms Sagar said.
“Wherever you may be located in Australia, we have the capability to connect with you through various channels, including in-person at your workplace or residence, or via online platforms. The challenge with many services in the market is that they only consider one aspect of your life and wellbeing where as we focus on your whole wellbeing.”
Ms Sagar emphasised that JEEVI’s programs are also ideal for businesses wanting to support the development of soft skills among workers.
“The job market is becoming more competitive, and businesses are looking for staff that possess both hard and soft skills,” Ms Sagar said.
“While hard skills are important for getting the job done, soft skills are just as important for building relationships and communicating effectively with others. JEEVI is able to work with businesses to assist them to develop these capabilities across their workplace.
“Soft skills are essential for any workplace, regardless of its size, and can make a significant difference in the success of a business. Small businesses often have limited resources and rely on their employees to wear multiple hats and take on various responsibilities. In such cases, soft skills like communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving are crucial for employees to handle their roles effectively. Small business owners also need soft skills to manage their employees, communicate with customers, negotiate deals, and make strategic decisions.
“Soft skills can be broken down into three categories: personal, social, and methodical skills. Personal skills such as self awareness, emotional intelligence, adaptability, refer to how an individual manages themselves, such as their work ethic and adaptability. Social skills such as communication, empathy, collaboration and leadership refer to how an individual interacts with others, including their communication and leadership abilities. Methodical skills such as time management, problem solving, strategic thinking, refer to an individual's ability to manage tasks and projects, such as time management and problem-solving.
“We are able to work with businesses to deliver strategies to improve soft skills across different areas including:
. improving personal soft skills by reflecting on actions and behaviour, practicing active listening, and seeking feedback
. building social soft skills by attending networking events, practicing empathy, and volunteering; and
. enhancing methodical soft skills through creating a to-do list, role-playing to develop decision-making skills, and staying updated with industry trends through reading publications.
JEEVI can provide expert guidance to companies looking to develop soft skills in their employees. By investing in the development of soft skills, companies can improve the wellbeing and productivity of their employees, which can ultimately lead to increased success for the organisation as a whole.”
